III. My Reviews about Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
A) What I Like:
Firstly, I love Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant’s texture. It is very soft and gentle. And I love the moment when it turns from the powder to the creamy paste. It is so satisfying to do this.
Ok! Now to main question. What effects did this exfoliator bring to my skin? This product definitely work like it advertising. I can see the result significantly after use it. With only three words, my skin was soft, smooth, and shining. During this period, one of my biggest concerns is hyperpigmentation (dark spots on my face). But luckily, it starts diminishing after using this product for a while. This product has brightens and improving my overall skin tone. Moreover, the exfoliator has reduced the amount of blackhead on my nose. I even find that my skin look younger than normal, which make me feel really happy. Dermalogica surprises me again this time because I was expecting my face going to be a little dry afterward, similar to my experience on Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel. However, my face didn’t feel dry at all. This product is very gentle!
B) What I Don’t Like:
There is only one thing about this product that I don’t like. That is its smell. It has a bad and odd scent that I DO NOT like.
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is for anyone regardless of genders, ages or skin types since it can gently exfoliate your skin without making your skin to feel dry. However, even though it named “daily”, it actually not good for your face to exfoliate everyday.
To anyone with sensitive, thin or dry skin, you shouldn’t use this product daily because it will strip your skin’s natural balance, which will dehydrate your skin resulting your face to breakouts or worsen your acne situation on face. Furthermore, constantly exfoliate the skin can cause irritation since it has removed the layer of skin before it can heal. I recommend to anyone with sensitive, dry or thin skin to use this every other couples of days as long as you exfoliate for
And with anyone has oily skin type, it is fine to use this product everyday. I recommend to use Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel before using this exfoliator. If you prefer to take a shorter time to clean up your skin, you could mix this with that product and water to create rich and foamy lather.
